Finland Per Eklund and Bo Reinecke In 1973 Per drove a Saab 96 with an enhanced V4 motor which developed 165 hp.

This was made possible due to the so called USA motor which could be bored out to 1.885 cm³ and was equipped with two double Weber carburettors in a so called cross pipe.

The car weighed 980 kilo at competition and reached a top speed of 185 kph.
